Town Square Theater

Town Square Theater is a custom wooden play structure located in Turnberry Town Square Shopping Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This one-of-a-kind play structure theater is a captivating masterpiece reminiscent of an old-time vaudeville theater, and it sits alongside several of Barbara’s other custom play structures: Stucco Playhouses and Roughhouse Treehouse.

Town Square Theater transports you to a bygone era with its intricate and beautiful carvings featuring whimsical landscapes, scrolls, and a sun. The play structure itself resembles a mini-theater, complete with charming features that ignite children's imaginations. 

The old-fashioned Ticket Window, a favorite among kids, sets the stage for the imaginative play that awaits. Moreover, the "Now Playing" chalkboard adds an element of anticipation as it announces the starting time for the next grand event.

The cleverly designed side wings offer young performers a place to eagerly await their turn, hidden from the the audience until they take their place on center stage. It's the perfect setup for encouraging creativity, confidence, and camaraderie as children collaborate in theatrical play.

One of the most captivating aspects of the Town Square Theater is Barbara's hand-carved and stained backdrop wall. Serving as an imaginative "canvas," this feature allows children to immerse themselves in various scenes, bringing their stories to life with every play session. To add a touch of authenticity, Sunbrella Theater curtains adorned with tie-back tassels frame the stage, completing the theater experience that kids of all ages will cherish.
